Sea Island Land Development (SILD) is proud to have been selected by Johnson & Laux to help bring a new “natural area” park to life for Dorchester County, South Carolina. This exciting project spans approximately 105 disturbed acres of scenic, wooded landscape and is designed to offer the community a beautiful and functional outdoor space. Once complete, the park will feature a wide range of amenities including a serene lake ideal for kayaking, a full disc golf course, a spacious dog park, and multiple walking trails that wind through the natural terrain.
As the site contractor, SILD has been responsible for executing several critical phases of construction, including clearing and grubbing, mass earthwork, concrete construction, and asphalt paving. Our team is working collaboratively with Johnson & Laux, ADC Engineering, and Dorchester County to ensure the project is delivered on schedule and meets all quality and safety standards. We’re on track to reach completion by the end of May 2025 and are proud to contribute to a development that will provide long-lasting recreational value to the local community.
