Sea Island Land Development (SILD) was selected by Dream Finders Homes to perform the complete site development for Sweetgrass, a new 20-acre residential community located in Summerville, South Carolina. The project will feature approximately 50 single-family homes and townhomes, contributing to the continued residential growth of the Summerville area.
SILD’s scope of work includes land clearing, excavating, mass grading, public utilities, storm drainage installation, concrete work, and asphalt paving. Working alongside project engineer Seamon Whiteside, our team is responsible for preparing the site and installing the essential infrastructure needed to support the new residential community.
From initial land clearing and earthwork through final paving, SILD is focused on delivering high-quality sitework that provides a strong foundation for future home construction. Construction began in October 2026 and is scheduled for completion in August 2027, highlighting our continued partnership with Dream Finders Homes and our experience delivering comprehensive residential site development throughout the South Carolina Lowcountry.
