Sea Island Land Development (SILD) was selected by Choate Construction to perform the complete site development for Opus Senior Living, an 8.5-acre residential development located in Summerville, South Carolina. Developed by Aspire Senior LLC, this project will provide a dedicated senior living and memory care facility designed to support the needs of older adults in the growing Summerville community.
SILD’s scope of work includes land clearing, excavating, grading, public utilities, storm drainage installation, concrete work, and asphalt paving. Working alongside project engineer Seamon Whiteside, our team is responsible for preparing the site and installing the essential infrastructure needed to support the facility’s construction and long-term operations.
From initial site preparation through final paving, SILD is focused on delivering high-quality sitework that provides a strong foundation for this important senior living development. Construction began in July 2026 and is scheduled for completion in June 2027, highlighting SILD’s experience delivering comprehensive residential and healthcare-related site development projects throughout the South Carolina Lowcountry.
