Sea Island Land Development (SILD) was selected by Charleston County to complete roadway improvements on Sol Legare Road on James Island, transforming approximately ¼ mile of existing dirt roadway into a paved surface.
This project features a unique pervious paving design, eliminating the need for traditional storm drainage infrastructure. The permeable pavement system allows water to infiltrate naturally, reducing runoff while improving long-term roadway performance and environmental sustainability.
