Sea Island Land Development (SILD) was selected by Pulte Home Company to perform the complete site development for Long Savannah, a new 14.15-acre residential community located in the City of Charleston, South Carolina. The project will include the development of 69 single-family home lots and 8 townhome lots, supporting continued residential growth throughout the Charleston area.
SILD’s scope of work includes land clearing, excavating, grading, public utilities, storm drainage installation, concrete work, and asphalt paving. Working alongside project engineer Seamon Whiteside, our team is focused on delivering high-quality infrastructure that will support the long-term success of the community.
One of the project’s primary challenges has been site access, as the only route into the development requires coordination through another active construction project. This has required extensive logistical coordination and strategic planning to maintain efficiency, safety, and schedule throughout construction.
Construction began in January 2026 and is targeted for completion in December 2026. This project highlights SILD’s ability to successfully manage complex residential sitework while adapting to challenging field conditions and maintaining a commitment to quality execution from start to finish.
