Sea Island Land Development (SILD) was selected by MB Kahn (General Contractor) to perform the complete sitework, water and sewer utilities, and storm drainage installation for the new MUSC 24-Hour Free-Standing Emergency Room (FSER) in West Ashley, adjacent to Citadel Mall.
Located on the former Red Lobster site, this redevelopment project will deliver a 13,428-square-foot medical facility designed to serve up to 109 occupants, expanding access to critical emergency care services for the Charleston community. The project is being completed within a 10-month construction schedule and is permitted through the City of Charleston.
SILD’s scope includes installation of all water and sewer infrastructure, as well as a specialized Cultec stormwater management system, ensuring efficient underground detention and compliance with municipal stormwater requirements.
