Sea Island Land Development (SILD) has been selected by Middleburg Construction to provide full site development services for the Nexton Greenhouse project in Summerville, South Carolina. This 16-acre site will be transformed into Nexton Pine Hollow, a 324-unit multifamily development located within the award-winning master-planned community of Nexton. As one of the fastest-growing areas in the Lowcountry, Nexton continues to attract large-scale residential and commercial growth, and SILD is proud to play a role in shaping its future.
SILD’s scope of work on Nexton Greenhouse is comprehensive, beginning with site clearing, excavation, and mass grading to prepare the land for vertical construction. Our team is also responsible for installing underground utilities and storm drainage systems, as well as managing concrete placement and asphalt paving.
We are collaborating closely with SWA and Insight Group to deliver a project that will meet the demands of a growing community while maintaining the high standards expected within the Nexton development. Construction officially began in March 2025, with project completion slated for Fall 2026. Once complete, Nexton Pine Hollow will add much-needed multifamily housing options to Summerville and further enhance the community’s reputation as one of the premier destinations for modern living in South Carolina.
