SILD Field Notes

Sea Island Land Development (SILD) was proud to be selected by Charleston County to construct nearly half a mile of new roadway in a growing local community. This project transformed what was once a dirt road into a fully paved, smooth asphalt surface, greatly enhancing safety, accessibility, and comfort for residents making their daily commute or returning home.

The scope of work included precise grading to establish a stable foundation, installation of a comprehensive storm drainage system to manage runoff and prevent erosion, and professional asphalt paving to ensure long-term durability and performance. Throughout the project, SILD leveraged advanced GPS and laser technology to deliver efficient and accurate results.
