Sea Island Land Development (SILD) is proud to have been selected by Samet Corporation to lead the site development for the GBT Carnes apartment complex in Summerville, South Carolina. Our team is responsible for managing the full scope of mass earthwork, underground utility installation, concrete construction, and asphalt paving on this exciting multi-family residential development.
This expansive 11-acre project site will feature six apartment buildings and four carriage house-style buildings, designed to offer modern, comfortable living spaces in a thriving community. What makes this project especially unique is the simultaneous progression of horizontal and vertical construction. With multiple apartment buildings under construction at once, it is critical for our team to coordinate closely with vertical contractors to maintain efficient scheduling and avoid delays.
