Sea Island Land Development is a licensed, bonded and insured site contractor based out of Charleston, South Carolina. We are a SCDOT Certified Small Business and Charleston County Certified Small Business that performs projects for local municipalities, private developers, and commercial contractors.
We specialize in delivering projects on time and on budget. Starting a project from schematic planning to establish a budget, to closing out a project, SILD is your one stop site contractor. We take a personal approach to every project, and are dedicated to every project to ensure our clients get a return on investment. Our Services
Site Work
Creating a specified base for construction work such as a foundation, landscape improvements, or surface drainage, our team utilizes state of the art GPS-enabled equipment and technology to transform the land from a wooded lot to a landscaped site.
Utilities
SILD is a licensed water and sewer main contractor in South Carolina, to complete projects such as installing water and sewer mains for a subdivision to installing individual services. SILD utilizes state of the art lasers and levels to ensure utilities are installed at the exact depth and slope.
Earth Work
SILD has a large range of excavation capabilities, from retention ponds and storm drain management, to removing excess or unsuitable soils to provide a structural working platform. With a fully integrated GPS control system, SILD ensures accurate and timely excavations.
Concrete and Paving
Asphalt paving, concrete paving, and curb and gutter are a crucial task on every project. Working with geotechnical engineers, SILD is able to guarantee these items are installed per specification.
