Beech Hill Middle School

SILD Field Notes

    SILD was selected as the site contractor for the new 20 acre Beech Hill Middle School Campus by Thompson Turner Construction.  The 135,000 square feet building pad required chemical stabilization for on time delivery.  Utility construction included 2,000 linear feet of deep gravity sewer and 8” water main.  Over 1 mile of reinforced concrete storm drain pipe was placed to provide adequate drainage.  Additional challenges of the project included wetland road crossings and bridge construction.
